In the Spring of 2009, one of my students suggested I become a member of U.S. English. So I did! I sent $10 and registered as my legal initials: M. C. Mize. Somehow my name was changed to McMize so I always know which organization *sold* my information! And the papers keep coming . . . "McMize" receives two to three mailings a month, not only from U.S. English but also from the "U. S. Border Control," "American Border Patrol," the "George W. Bush Presidential Center," and most recently, the "Tea Party." All for $10! Here are some choice letters I've received, and a video from US English.
